Upright Bass
The Bass is an integral aspect of many types of music and groups. Unlike the other members of the string family, the bass has never been fully standardized in it’s shape or construction. It does have the standard F holes , tailpiece, unfretted fingerboard and scroll, unattached bridge; it differs in that it has machine-head tuning (geared) rather than friction fit pegs. Golden Music offers basses made in small family workshops from around the world.
