Violin
The violin developed in the Renaissance from other bowed instruments. The violin has a fretless fingerboard and tuning pegs that are held in place by friction. For students, we put geared tuners onto the tailpiece to help with tuning. Golden Music’s violins come from small family workshops from around the world.
